"Cortijo Tabera de Arriba", offers various hunting grounds with a total of 2.000 hectares of land.
How to get there:
From Madrid (and Barajas international airport): two hours by car. Motorway.
From Valladolid (the airport of Villanubla has daily flights from principal cities of Europe and the USA): one hour by car.
We are less than 50 kilometres from the border with Portugal (Vilar Formoso).
We are located at the Finca Tabera de Arriba in the municipality of Tabera de Abajo, 30 kilometres west of Salamanca, 25 of them by motorway.

Our hunting areas are amongst the best to practice the hunting of birds and fowl, with hills and wooden areas. As our hunting areas are located in different parts of the municipality, we can organise different kinds of hunting at the same time. We organise hunting parties every day of the year. |

To our clients we can offer assistants who can spot the animals and charge your guns while you are shooting, and help you to collect the prey at the end of the hunt.
The hunt begins with a draw for the different spots and throughout the day the hunters will change positions.
The groups consist of six to twelve hunters. We offer good camouflage behind secure shields. |

We have our own restaurant which offers breakfast, drinks at noon and a typical meal at the end of the day, prepared in-house with special care.
Currently we cannot offer overnight facilities, but we have agreements with hotels of different categories (three and four stars) in Salamanca, and with country bed and breakfasts.
We offer competitive prices, you can organise a hunting session for the price of 18 euros per fowl. (Assistants, meals and secretaries in addition.)

HUNTER SERVICES :

In advance to the hunting we transacted the license and the permission of arms, depending on their origin, the proceedings are the following ones:
PAISES OF THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY:
If you want to bring your weapon, needs the European Card Firearms, necessary for the import of any weapon. In the airport it must fill up a questionnaire in which their arms are reviewed.
The U.S.A. AND COUNTRIES THAT DO NOT NEED PERMISSION ARMS:
The Official Document of the Spanish Consulate of its city in Spanish will be necessary where it is allowed to travel to Spain with the arms that you wish to use. The photocopy makes lack of the passport to remove in Spain the license from hunting. They are possible to be brought three arms by person and to be filled up the corresponding form.

BIRDS:
The birds are of very good quality making high and very fast flights, which allows to the hunter the great satisfaction to catch them.
The company Cortijo Tabera de Arriba is of recent creation. For the 2004 it has grant leave to hunt every day and we have 50,000 partridge and 20,000 faisan to our huntings. |
